I have still not got round to making pancakes and it’s now April!

So much has been going on, but I am determined to blog at least once a month.

I have been very busy with orders, my guest books are literally flying all over the world as well as within the UK which is just fantastic but it does mean that I have had to increase my timescale for getting the books made and dispatched. It has now been extended to 10 working days so it is really important that you allow plenty of time for your order to be made. I do try to help if you do require something in a hurry. Take this Guipure Lace Guest Book for instance, I was asked to add the couples logo to the design, they were very happy with the finished result and it was all done within 5 days.

The other news I have is that the larger books were available for just one week, they have now been sold out. Further stock will be available by the beginning of June but I will keep you posted. I will do as previously and take pre-orders so please do get in touch if you would like one reserved enquiries@papermemories.co.uk.

The photo Albums are in stock so these will be added to the website shortly.

I have shut down the listings on Amazon temporarily while I enjoy a very brief break over the Easter period, I am going to be spending some quality with my family but I will be back soon. My website and Ebay shop will still be open for business though so you can still place your order.

Where did February go................??

I can’t believe it is now March, February has just flown by, I even totally missed Pancake Day which is so unlike me so I will be insisting on having another just for us in March : )

I can’t believe how busy I have been for this time of year too, normally I would have at least one quiet month between November and February but so far I have not had one.

Dispatch times are still currently within 7 working days but during peak season can be up to 28 days so I would always advise ordering at least one month in advance. I have had many enquiries for the larger size Guest Books already this year, unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances these are now delayed until the end of March so I may start taking pre orders by the middle of the month.

I am hoping that the Photo Albums will also be available at the same time too.

If you would like an alternative to butterflies my new Dragonfly Guest Book has been added to my online shop on the website. The Dragonflies themselves are available in Silver or Gold and you can choose from 80 different shades of ribbon so again, like all my designs it can be made to suit your own Wedding colour(s).

If you are having a colorful or tropical Wedding I will be blogging again soon to tell you about a new design which I am hoping is going to be popular for summer weddings this year.

Eco Friendly Guest Books & Photo Albums

I had a thought as I was cutting up some cardboard boxes, I was wondering if you were aware how eco friendly my books and albums are? Did you know that handmade paper is the only paper being 100% wood free as well as being acid free and recyclable? My books are handmade from handmade paper and card, which is produced and manufactured within fair trade standards and environmentally friendly conditions. 

I continue the commitment and contribution to help protect our planet by being as energy efficient as I can be, nothing is ever wasted, that which I am unable to re-use in any way is simply recycled.

Now………… back to my cardboard boxes which I am cutting up to use in envelopes to make them board backed : )

New Years Resolutions

Wow! We are already half way through January and I am already busy with orders, which is fantastic news but it has meant that my blog/facebook and twitter fans have been neglected! My New Years Resolution was to keep in touch on a more regular basis to update you on all the gossip, news and exclusives from Paper Memories, unlike my other resolutions I fully intend to keep this one, as I am, to be frank, absolutely nothing without you! J

So what’s new for January? My “Stars” Guest Books are selling particularly well at the moment, they are available in Ivory or White with either Gold or Silver embellishments with lovely twinkling diamante stars and the personalised details are mounted on matching Gold or Silver mirror card. I am getting a lot of interest from Australian clients for this particular design. It is currently still only available to purchase via Amazon and Ebay at the moment.

I was hoping to have completed more of my website by adding “Stars” and other designs so if any are of interest to you and you are unable to purchase via the above sites please contact me and I can invoice you directly.

As soon as all designs are on the website I will let you know.

Last orders for 2011!

Finally................the last order for 2011 has now been posted and is winging its way to a lovely couple in Essex who are due to tie the knot on New Years Eve! Congratulations to you both!
So, thats it for Paper Memories for 2011, I am back on Thursday 5th January 2012.
